Tabdi is a small village. It lies to the south of Budapest ( km 80 ), km 30 away from Kecskemet, in the middle of the hungarian plain. Kecskemet is the bigger town and it is a arts centre offering a lot of cultural initiative. The main square looks like an hungarian Art Nouveau open-air museum.
Kiskoros is a small town neighbouring Tabdi ( Km 8 ). It is famous for Petofi Sandor poet’s house and for a thermal spring.
The beautiful town of Szeged is Km 80 away from Tabdi. It is well-known for its festival of music and for its palaces and parks.
Kiskunsag National Park is km 10-15 away from Tabdi. The most well-known area of the park is Bugac where there is the Museum of Shepherds and you can watch herds of grey bovine, “racka” sheep and horses performance.
